I have a confession:
I do not eat breakfast cereal with milk. I think it is gross. Dry cereal is the best cereal. Em generally only eats it as a snack (dry), and specifically quaker oatmeal squares[1]. As a consequence, Gooseberry has never been exposed to anything but dry cereal.
She had a sudden epiphany looking at her box of cheerios today: they are served in a bowl of milk. So now, here we are, having a bowl of cereal with milk for supper, and it is the most exciting thing all day, even more than the bowl of icecream she got to eat after we got lunch at her favorite mexican restaurant. have... have I been a bad dad, depriving my child of a simple joy in life??
