BIG WALK II

it is Not Just Me who is so into big walk rn:

"daddy!! watch me be like Big Walk!"

*jumps forward to faceplant into the couch, ramrod straight; planks for bit*

"...I left the game."

* eyes closed, slightly hunched forward, arms pumping in little circles*

"I typed a message! it says, 'let's go get icecream'"

and also this! check this out!! a 5 year old's drawings of Big Walk Creatures. Two prominent figures take center stage. One has 'x' eyes as a disconnected player. One is carrying a laser pointer over its head, declaring 'lasers up! yeah!' (with the handwriting provided by me). There are music notes and wordbubbles spread about the page; some wordbubbles contain text she prompted me to write, while others have little scribbles. Many have punctuation marks like '!' and '?' on the outside of the bubble. At the bottom are two more creatures, squashed to fit. One is carrying a glowing light, while the other has sleeping eyes.

Gooseberry has also tried to play a little. She is Not At All Good at looking with one stick and moving with the other (which is to be expected lol) but made improvements. She did say she wished she could turn the controller to look, which: you're right, kid, that's why I've been using mousemode on the joycons (she didn't want to try that at all). I have bought two copies of the game--one for PC, one for Switch2, so I might try to get her on the 'puter with Steam input gyro and see how that goes--I don't anticipate being able to leave the room and play the game as House House intends but I'm pretty sure breaking the Rules in the name of having a delighted 5yo is allowable
