On 16 Jan I replaced my kindle's battery and charged it to 100%. I've been running it without charging cuz they say you should fill a battery, deplete it, and then fill it up powered off to calibrate a device's battery life estimate. Last night it hit 0% and.... just kept going?? Read for a half hour (with wifi on even, which I generally keep off) and it kept refreshing the display without complaint. As of this morning, we're still at 0 and not going into that deep hibernation/power off state. I wish it had the ability to display a negative integer cuz I betcha it would if it could. Battery calibration is silly, new battery is workin out I think.
