There is a time, around idk, 6,7 months where a baby starts really showing preference. It, incidentally, is also when a baby starts really refining motor skills... and growing teeth and is ready to try some "solid" foods
In Snapdragon's case, we're enjoying this particularly with food:
- applesauce
- A tier; can't go wrong, will eat and eat. If it is coming out of one of those pouches, will try to slurp it out instead of by the spoonful (this does not go well, lol)
- sweet potato
- C tier, just OK. Will eat, but won't get excited about it
- carrots
- B tier; decent, will happily eat
- peas
- ??? tier; will just kinda... hold it in her mouth with a surprised expression. She was still willing to get more spoonfulls but we gave up after a couple since... there wasn't anywhere for more to go
Tune in next time for:
- squash
- plums
- pears
